Anthony Frank Caruso

     Anthony Frank Caruso, age 90, of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Regal Heights Health Care Center in Hockessin, DE. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Giovanni (John) Caruso and the late Philomena (Jannotto) Caruso, and was one of ten children.

     Anthony worked as a cargo manager for Delta Airlines for over 30 years. He served our country in the Air Force from 1951 - 1955 and was a member of the American Legion. Anthony was a proud Philadelphia sports fan and a proud concealed carry permit holder. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, target practice, cigars, Italian food, and enjoyed a little gambling in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Dover, Delaware. In recent years, he enjoyed donating to many local charities and loved his daughter, Renee's pizzelles.

     Anthony is survived by his daughter, Renee Caruso-Neel (David); his daughter-in-law, Ann Caruso; and his grandchildren, Abigail Caruso, Cameron Cooper, and Amanda Cooper; as well as his sisters, Rosemarie Johnston, Mary Lechner, and Grace Damis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Anthony Caruso Jr.
