Doris Lafferty

Doris F. Lafferty, age 98, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022, at Parkview Nursing Home in Wilmington, DE.  Beloved wife of the late, Lewis J Lafferty, Jr., with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.   Born in West Grove, PA she was the daughter of the late, Walter Frank and Yvetta Walker Frank.

Doris worked for many years as a secretary for Phillips Mushroom Farms in Kennett Square, PA.  She enjoyed spending her time at the shore with family and friends.  Doris will be fondly remembered for her smile and her contagious laughter.  She was always the life of the party.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Josephine Morgan (Rocco) of Wilmington, DE.  Her grandchildren, Linda, Patrick, Kristin, Andrea, Ashely, Buddy, Chris and Jamie, and seven great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her two sons, Walter Lafferty and Lewis J. Lafferty III and her sister Gladys Ford.
