James Bryan Northrup

James Bryan Northrup of Richmond, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 73.  He was the son of the late Walter Bryan Northrup and the late Julia Mickle Northrup.  

After graduating from McKean High School in Delaware, he attended and graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina with a BA in English.  He spent his early career in Winston-Salem, NC, employed by Proudfoot, a management consulting company, and later moved to Richmond, VA, where he worked at the Bamboo Restaurant.  Jim enjoyed spending hours watching his favorite teams - the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.  

Jim is survived by his brother Walter L. Northrup and his wife Debby, his sister Sarah N. DiAngelo and her husband Jerry, and several nieces and nephews.
