Jeffery A. Kennedy
Jeffery A. Kennedy, age 67, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Patricia (Pennington) Kennedy with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. Kennedy and the late Margaret Nance Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael F. Kennedy.
Jeffery graduated from Kennett High School in 1974. He was a Supervisor for Brandywine Contractors, Inc. He worked in Commercial Construction for 39 years, until he retired in 2013. He was a member of the Local Carpenters Union #626. Jeff enjoyed hunting with family members at the family cabin in PA. He was an avid TV watcher. Netflix being one of his favorites. He also enjoyed watching Disney+ with his grandchildren. Jeff will be remembered mostly for his big heart and joking personality.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by his son, Benjamin Michael and his wife Ashley (Miller); his granddaughter, Burgan; and grandsons, Benjamin and Miles.
You are invited to visit with Jeffery's family and friends from 10:00 -11:00 am on Thursday, April 4th 2024, at the Chapel of Christ Church at the Grove, 1772 New London Road, Landenberg, PA 19350. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
