Mabel Harris

Mabel Dickerson Harris, age 91, of West Grove, PA., died on Friday January 15, 2021 at her home.  She was the wife of the late William F. Harris who died in 1999 and with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Exmore, VA, she was a daughter of the late William C. Dickerson and the late Margie Pusey Dickerson.  Mabel moved with her family at the age of 2 to Avondale, PA and lived in the borough until 2008 when she moved to the Villages at Penn Ridge.  Mabel was a homemaker who loved her family and her many pets.

She is survived by her daughter, Claudia F Harris of West Grove.  She will be sorely missed by her beloved Westie, Skipper.

You are invited to visit with Mabel’s family and friends from 11-12 Noon Monday January 25, 2021 at West Grove Presbyterian Church 139 West Evergreen St. West Grove, PA 19390.  COVID rules will apply.  Her funeral service will follow and will be held privately.  Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Delaware Humane Association 701 A.
