Michele Mcallister

Michele Jane McAllister, age 67, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Betty McAllister. She attended St. Ann School in Wilmington and graduated from Padua Academy in 1973.

Beginning in her teenage years and for much of her life, Michele owned horses and competed in equestrian events. She worked for many years in office administration for local equine veterinary practices and was frequently sought after for her talents in bookkeeping. In all her positions, inside and outside the equestrian community, she was admired for her dependability and her warm and fun disposition. Michele was a saintly and selfless mother, a loving grandmother, a lover of animals, and a loyal friend.

Michele is survived by her son, Benjamin McKee, and her daughter-in-law, Celina; her brother, Albert McAllister; and her granddaughter, Cynthia Michele McKee. She is survived by many lifelong friends, and gained new and meaningful friendships in every decade of her life.

Services and interment will be held privately. Contributions to Michele’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
