Stephen M. Schrass

     Stephen Michael Schrass, age 55, of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of Charles J. Schrass and Sandra Tyson Schrass of West Grove, PA. 

     Stephen graduated from St. James High School and went on to work in the family business, Elliott Machine Company, as a manager. When the company closed after many successful years, he transitioned into a career at Fleetwood Industrial Products, which he truly enjoyed. 

     Stephen will be remembered for his love of cats, having rescued many over the years. He also had a huge heart for helping others at a moment's notice. 

     In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his aunt Geri Schrass, his two sisters, Shelly MacNeil (husband Jeffrey) and Andrea Trone (husband Richard), and four nieces and nephews: Ryan, Sofia, Lily, and Lars. He will be fondly remembered by his friend Melissa Ennis. He was also adored by his cat, Joker, who brought him great comfort and joy. 

     The family will be holding a private remembrance celebration of Stephen. Contributions, in his memory, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a foundation Stephen was very fond of supporting. https://www.stjude.org/
